IN PROGRESS
Trying new things can be hard. We know once you try Sconny Green you will love it! We asked ourselves what would it take for US to try something new?
Our first thought? FREE helps! So we gave away a ton of free samples for growers to try, and they loved it! We did a beautiful grow in California and shared it.
We also listened and learned from others..... they want to see side by sides grows and pictures. So, that is exactly what we did!
What exactly did we do in our side by side?
We went to a store and bought 30gal fabric pots and identical bags of Coco.
Then we named our pots & filled them.
Name- (parts coco to parts sconnygreen)
6 pots with 6 different nutrient mixes placed in a row ready for water, plants, and sun. Next we needed plants. 6 identical clones from the same mother, of course, to be fair. Welcome Larry OG!! (Before planting the clones, we took a soil sample from each planter; more on that later).
So, June 24 2019 in Colorado, our Sconny Green side by side was born. Three days later we planted.
1st Group of photos July 25th-----------28days (Pictures below).
One month after planting 4inch clones.
The most SURPRISING thing we noted, only one month in, was that there was NOT a benefit to overfeed the Sconny Green.
The most EXPECTED result, that we did see proven, was the fact that top feeding only on fresh soil is not enough, (we still find it interesting to watch this one).
Not the easiest pictures to see a clear comparison but if you take the time to look this is order you would find:
Listed in BEST to FAIR order:
Erma----- 20:1
Betty----- 10:1
Lin------- 5:1
Chick---- Chicken manure
Roxy -----Organic liquid system
Julie----- Top feed only—just coco soil
August 7th------------41 days (pictures below).
Almost 2 weeks have past since the last pics. Boy, have these ladies grown!
I have listed the order below as it has changed!
Julie has passed Roxy!!!
(that top feeding finally got down to the roots we suspect).
Betty and Lin are close a 2nd now.
Listed in BEST to FAIR order:

Betty -----10:1
Lin --------5:1
Chick----- Chicken manure

August 27th------------61 days (pictures below).
Almost 3 weeks have past since the last pics. Listed in over all plant health, look, and size.
Erma, Chick, and Roxy are close now.
Listed in BEST to FAIR order:
Lin------- 5:1 33.5inches
Betty -----10:1 41.5 inches
Erma------ 20:1 37 inches
Chick----- Chicken 40 inches
Roxy-----organic liquid system 38 inches
Julie------ Top feed only—just coco soil 31 inches
Three to 4 weeks of flower left!
Lin is the favorite right now, because of the bud production. She seems to be holding tighter and larger buds.
When I asked our grower to rank and update us on the ladies, this was his response:
"My yard smells like a family of skunks has moved into the back!!
Wheeew!! We smell it from the corner down the block!!
I've grown this strain before, and damn the Sconny plants look the best, by far, and you can quote that!
I'm impressed!
As far as rank; they are nearly even at the moment, with the exception of Roxy (she's smallest), but I believe Lin to be the leader".
19 days since our last update, we where hoping to get another 10 days, but when mother nature has other plans for you......you adapt.
